so, would it be possible to turn the earth's magnetic field into a resonant source of electricity to power the entire planet? i could see how that might solve a few problems..
It seemed from the video that you couldn't do that, because the Earth would also need to have a resonating coil. The reason this is safe is that it's a similar magnetic field to the one the Earth produces, but it will only produce electricity if the source and the device have coils that will resonate at the same frequency.
